 Building confidence early while learning how to speak French can help you master the basics and reach proficiency. Starting with a solid foundation of basic French words and phrases, getting a handle on pronunciation, and practicing your accent are just a few things you can do from day one to speak French avec confiance (with confidence). 

  France offers a wide variety of unique and exciting festivals. Tourists from across the world flock to these events to experience regional traditions and get hands-on experience with under-the-radar aspects of French culture. One of the most unique festivals in France is the Menton Lemon Festival, locally called the Fête du Citron. It is a 20-day French festival in the town of Menton, located just east of Monaco, that celebrates the region’s specialty crop. It started in 1875 as a parade to liven up the winter months. Today it includes a wide variety of shows, arts and crafts workshops for all ages, cooking classes, garden tours, and more.  

 Languages are so much more than a collection of translatable words. Focusing solely on translation is one of the worst ways to practice a language. The words, grammar, nonverbal communication, and more are all informed by the speakers’ culture and interactions with other languages. That means sometimes words cross over between languages and other times, they are unique to one language.

A widget is a program with a simple function on a computer, mobile device, or website.  The pre-installed weather widget, news apps, and stack widgets that most iPhones and Android phones on their home screens are examples of widgets you probably use every day. If you’ve ever booked an appointment from a calendar connected to a website, that’s a widget.

That’s over 65.6 million people. Each one of these people is unique in their needs and abilities, but they all have the right to an appropriate education and the potential to succeed with the right support.
